Martin Goldberg

Managing Attorney

Martin graduated from Syracuse University in 1973 and managed his own construction company (he swung a hammer as well!) until 1980, when he entered the Antioch School of Law in Washington D.C., graduating in 1982. Martin returned to school to get his law degree because he wanted to help people while making a living to support his young family.

In 1983, Martin moved to Gainesville with his wife and three young sons. He practiced personal injury law with another firm until 1986, when he launched the Goldberg Law Office. Since that time, the Goldberg Law Office has handled over 3000 personal injury and disability cases, always with the same dedication to service and helping people that originally inspired Martin to become a lawyer. Having experienced disability in his own family, Martin has always been dedicated to providing respectful, caring, and competent representation to the injured and the disabled.

“I love the vast beauty and diversity of this country and I love that we have legal safeguards that allow someone like me to be able to help people overcome the advantages that large corporations, big insurance companies and the government have when people are simply trying to get what they are legally entitled to.”

Martin has traveled extensively, enjoying both the cultural adventures of new countries and places as well as the actual adventure of hiking, climbing, and rafting with his three sons. An avid sports fan (Go Gators!!), Martin was a die hard basketball player until two knee surgeries retired him. Martin loves the outdoors and has supported numerous environmental causes and well as numerous groups and causes that provide needed support and services to disadvantaged people, both here and abroad.

Martin was very pleased when his middle son Jonathan decided to become a lawyer as well. This ensures that the Goldberg Law Office and its dedication to serving the injured, the ill, and the disabled of North Central Florida will continue for a long time to come.

“I’ve worked with my hands as well as my head. I’ve been injured and had multiple surgeries. My mother and my son have had back surgeries. I lost a family member in a car accident. Members of my family are unable to work due to their health problems. Nothing feels better than knowing that I and the rest of the caring and dedicated staff of the Goldberg Law Office have made (and will continue to make) a huge difference in the lives of so many of our North Central Florida neighbors.”
